How every case works
Each mock case runs like a real interview, one step at a time.
- Listen or readEvery step has a Listen button that reads the prompt aloud.
- Answer out loudUse the timers. Say your answer before you reveal anything.
- CompareReveal a strong answer and see what you missed.
- Work the numbersCharts, step-by-step math, and calculators you can change.
- Test yourselfA 12-question practice test at the end of every case.
Each case starts with a short primer on the firm, the team, and the terms you'll hear. Hints stay hidden until you ask for them.

Two ways to use your time
One week before an interview
- Day 1: Case Math habits, percentages, and break-even.
- Days 2–3: Two cases from your firm, out loud, with the timers.
- Day 4: Behavioral Prep in test mode, then review what you missed.
- Day 5: One case from a different firm, to practice a new structure.
- Day 6: Redo your weakest case and take its practice test.
- Day 7: Light review of the formula cheat sheet, then rest.
The night before
- Read the primer for your firm's case type.
- Redo one case's main math from memory.
- Say a recommendation out loud with the 60-second timer.
- Read the formula cheat sheet once.
- Prepare your questions for the interviewer, then sleep.
About me
Hi, I'm Evelyn, a USC student who came into recruiting from an audit internship. When I started casing, I didn't know what EBITDA was or why anyone multiplied it by 15, and most prep material assumed I already did.
So I started building practice cases for myself: one step at a time, every term explained, and the math broken into small pieces I could check. I kept asking "but why?" until things clicked, and wrote the answers into the cases. Friends and peer advisors started using them, so I kept going.
This site is the result. It's how I prepared for my own interviews, including the one that turned into an offer at PwC.
Why I made it free
Good case prep is often expensive, or it depends on knowing the right people. I wanted anyone to be able to practice with real structure and honest explanations, especially students without a consulting network.
I built these with help from AI tools and reworked every part that confused me until it made sense. If something still doesn't, that's a bug, and I want to fix it.

Pick a case from the sidebar
Each case runs the same loop: the interviewer prompt, your move, then a strong answer to check yourself against, with exhibits like workpapers.
- Choose a case on the left. It opens right here.
- Work it in one sitting, about 35 minutes.
- Use Open full screen for the wide exhibits.
